YTH CON

THIS FRIDAY-SUNDAY

YTH CON 202 is this weekend and we could not be more excited! Students will gather at the church for large groups worship and teaching and spread out into the community to stay in host homes and be with their connection groups. We are so excited for this year and hope your kids are too! You can find the schedule, packing list, and drop-off/pick-up information at www.veritascr.church/ythcon

YTH CON TIME AWAY

If your student is going to miss any time from YTH CON (practices, games, tryouts, not staying the night, etc.) we ask you to fill out this Time Away Form. This will give us the information we need to communicate with you, the host homes, and their leaders to make the transitions to and from YTH CON seamless. We will have physical copies available at drop off on Friday as well.

NIGHT OF WORSHIP

NOVEMBER 17 | 6:30P

Next Wednesday night we have a church-wide night of worship and prayer. We won't be having normal Wednesday night for students next week but we invite you and your family to come worship and prayer with our church!

NEW SERIES

HAGGAI: SOMETHING BETTER

We are spending four weeks going through the short book of Haggai. Haggai was a prophet of God to the exiles who had returned to Jerusalem after being taken captive by Babylon. We see all throughout this book that God, through Haggai, calls the people of Israel to something better.

THIS WEEK - HAGGAI 2:20-23

LOOKING AT THE VICTORY IN THE FUTURE GIVES US CONFIDENCE FOR TODAY.

We finish up our study through Haggai tonight! Tonight we will see God talk to Zerubbabel and give him a picture of the future to give him confidence to live by. Here's a few question to start conversations with your kids!

  1. God’s promise to Zerubbabel was fulfilled in Jesus. What future promises of God will come true when Jesus returns?
  2. How does future victory give you confidence for today?

WE WILL NOT BE MEETING THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING
