What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Christ I was just living my regular life but I knew something was missing. My life back then was full of myself and I did not care about anything else. I had tried reading my Bible and doing devotionals but it nothing ever stuck with me. I came to the realization that the thing lacking in my life for true happiness was Christ.
How did you meet Jesus?
There were times when I could feel the Godly presence coming from someone. Other times at church during worship I remember distinct moments when I could sense being led by the presence of God. There have been many times where I left anything that I was worried about into God’s hands - specifically during tests, family issues, or other things that were causing me to worry. Jeremiah 17:7 says “Happy are those who trust in the Lord, who rely on the Lord.”
After being saved by Jesus what is your life like now?
When I first signed up for YTH Camp I wasn’t thrilled but I knew it would be good for me. On the last day there, Pastor Jake had said to put your heads down and think about your relationship with God. Then he said when you are done stand up and sing to the Lord - so I did. The presence of God was so strong that I couldn’t hold my tears back, and then I told Jesus that today is the day where I choose to follow you. 1 John 2:25 says, “This is the promise that he himself gave us: eternal life.”
