What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before Jesus, I was looking for love and acceptance in others, but not in Jesus. I struggle with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I attempted suicide 2 times, self-harmed, and hated myself. I was doing things to make others happy, but in turn I was miserable. (I grew up Catholic but never had a connection with God.)
How did you meet Jesus?
On June 17th, 2021, I witnessed a car accident. I wasn't able to get either men out of the vehicle and they burned alive. Their names were Jacob and Matthew, both biblical names. I found myself asking God why I didn't die instead of one of these men. I realized that God had a reason for me to see their accident. At Salt Company, Jordan said that in order for a seed to grow, it has to die. I feel that I have "died" many times and I am finally growing in my faith.
After being saved by Jesus what is your life like now?
I forgive myself for not being able to save Jacob and Matthew. I am starting to see my self-worth and see that Jesus saved me so I can get close to him, spread the Word and my faith. I work to bring others close to Jesus. My story isn't finished, but the start of it is worth living for.
