Romans 8 Kickoff

Romans 8 Kickoff

June 1, 2020 | Jake Each

There is no doubt that these have been some crazy days! The lockdowns. The social distancing. The spread of a virus. The isolation. The politicizing. The tensions. The consumption of way too much news. In some cases, fighting fear and worry. In other cases, fighting anger and frustration. I think we are all due for a long, deep look into some really good news, and I can’t think of a better place to do that than Romans 8.

Romans 8 is arguably the best chapter in the whole Bible, and this summer, starting June 7th, we are going to spend eight weeks in these 39 amazing verses. This chapter contains some of the most incredible truths that we need to understand and cling to in this world.

Therefore, each week of the series will also come with a memory verse or verses. Below is a list of those verses. We ask that you memorize them each week and recite them to your Connection Group. Store them in your heart, we will all need to recite them to ourselves and each other often. If you fly through memorizing these, we would encourage you to memorized the whole chapter!

Our hope throughout this study is to deepen our understanding of the gospel, to be encouraged, and to have our worship and joy stoked by the best news in the world. I can’t wait to see God work as we take a deeper look into this amazing chapter!

Love you guys!

Jake
