Veritas Kids Safety & Check-in Procedures

We are excited to welcome you back!

We have entered into our phased approach of reopening Veritas Kids by providing care for children ages 0 through fifth grade. We know some of you are eager for your child(ren) to return to Veritas Kids and some of you would like to wait a while longer both are okay. During this time it's important we protect our unity in Christ and respect both opinions. 

Check-in Procedures

  • We are offering contactless check-in. We will have an attendant at each kiosk to help you.
  • In an effort to reduce the amount of people in the check-in area, we ask that only one adult from each family check their children in.
  • The main double doors by the kids checkin is only an entrance. The back door by the coat wall will only be an exit. An attendant will be available at each door to open them for you.
  • Please have your pick up tag ready to show when picking up your child. It is not necessary to hand the tag to the classroom leader.
  • Please pick up your child immediately following the end of the service so we can clean and sanitize before the next service.

Additional Safety Procedures

  • Each volunteer serving in Veritas Kids will go through a symptom checklist before entering the kids area to help ensure the safety your child.
  • A new wellness policy will be posted at the entrance of the kids area. We are asking that children not be checked into a classroom if they have a temperature or are feeling sick.
  • Hard surfaces (doors, toilets, sinks, tables, chairs, etc…) will be sanitized between each service.
  • All smaller toys will be taken out of each room at the end of each service and replaced with another set of toys that have already been sanitized.
  • We will continue to use disposable gloves when changing diapers and have hand sanitizer available in every classroom.
  • Snacks will not be provided for the time being.
  • We will be limiting the number of children in each room.
