When I put my faith in Jesus, I realized that life is not a popularity contest, and I was never going to be satisfied if I kept trying to keep up with Joneses. I know I am different now, which is often the exact opposite of what the world wants me to do and be. Instead, I get to ask God to keep me in the moment, opening my eyes to the blessings and receiving the peace that only He can provide.

I burst out crying in happiness as I came to the realization that I would get to live with Jesus forever! And he died on the cross for our sins. While my sin is still a big problem, it's a problem that's already been paid for on my behalf. And I'm so grateful for Him.

I have to know that God has fought my battles already. Who overcame death on the cross, is fighting battles I don’t know about, loves me, and is willing to empower me as I go through these things. So I know not to give up, not to tap out, to keep fighting, and to keep walking because God’s not done with my life, and I’m gonna get through this. I know to trust in God because I know he will put it back together.

Since following Jesus, I have been sharing the gospel with people at school. I have forgiven people who have left or hurt me in the past. I don't follow the world anymore I follow Jesus.

Since meeting Jesus, my anger has changed a lot. I have noticed a change in areas where I would become frustrated or be rude to my siblings. I enjoy going to church and worshiping God. I know that I will go to Heaven because in John 3:16, Jesus says, “...whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

I have peace in knowing God’s in control and I can rely on Him. God sent His only son to save me, and I received eternal life through that sacrifice. Now that I’m made new, I will build my life upon The Father and The Word. I am saved.

Before I met Christ, the “needs” that filled my mind were very materialistic and self-centered. I was consumed with trying to keep up with my peers, and everything I did was for my own personal gain.

I am dependent on God for all things. I can do nothing on my own. I no longer worry about the things I used to concern myself with and instead store up my treasures in eternal things.

Now that I know Jesus, I pray a lot. I pray about everything that is happening. I have a desire to read the Bible and learn more about who Christ is. I have hope, knowing that God is there and will help me no matter what happens!

feel a new identity with Christ because I truly understand what He did for me. That empty hole in my soul has been filled with the love of Jesus. My mind and heart have been transformed as I have learned to lean on Jesus for strength and have developed a passion for His Word.
