What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I started following Jesus, I didn't know much about him but I knew he was always there because my family members are Christian. I would always pray with my mom but I never truly took it seriously. It was never my top priority. I always thought baptism meant I would get to go to heaven.
How did you meet Jesus?
I'm not sure when I started following Jesus but I know it was because I realized I needed him. Ever since I started getting involved I've been making better decisions and new friendships. I want to learn more about him and until he decides that it's time for me to go, I'll continue to learn.
After being saved by Jesus what is your life like now?
It has made a gradual change in my life, especially with choices such as deciding to change schools. I now know that baptism isn't going to make me right with God or save me. I want to be baptized because Jesus commands it. I want to be baptized because I know I will be with God for the rest of my life and for all of eternity. I want to submit to Him in everyday life. He paid for my sins with his death, I am now alive in Christ.
