What was life like before you met Jesus?
Growing up my family and I went to a Catholic church every Sunday. I was also required to go to religious education every Wednesday night for two and a half hours. After experiencing that, my relationship with God was basically nonexistent.
How did you meet Jesus?
At the beginning of my sophomore year a friend introduced me to Veritas and I instantly found a new love and faith for Jesus. I got a Bible and started reading it and doing Bible studies. I also started sharing the gospel with my friends who have had a similar experience with their faith. One bible verse that is important to me is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” This verse has been a constant reminder that going through the experience of a Catholic church and realizing it wasn't the right fit for me then finding a church that is, was all a part of God's plan for me. Along with me being able to know that he has a plan for me for the future so I shouldn't worry too much about it now.
After being saved by Jesus what is your life like now?
I feel like I turn to God with my problems more. I also find myself sharing my experiences with others more. I want to be baptized to proclaim my love and faith for Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
