What was life like before you met Jesus?

I knew who Jesus was and I thought I was fine but I never asked myself if I really believed. I didn't care a whole lot about reading the bible or praying, all I cared about was myself. I was not very humble. I also tried to avoid conversations about Jesus. I felt uncomfortable talking about him. I didn't realize how much I sin.

How did you meet Jesus?

I liked to think that I was a good leader and that I loved Jesus even though I didn't really know what I believed. I was confused and frustrated. I started talking with a counselor at camp and then I had another conversation with Natalie and I understood a little bit more but I still thought I had to do something to become a Christian. Then, on Good Friday we were in the middle of worship and I started crying and I felt Jesus in my heart and I knew I was a sinner and that he had saved me from my sins. The service ended and my sister, Johnnie looked at me, hugged me, and said “Do you believe?” I said “Yes!”

1 Corinthians 3:7 "So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything but only God who makes things grow."

After being saved by Jesus what is your life like now?

Jesus helped me with my confusion and frustration. Now I am not afraid to tell other people that I love Jesus and that he died on a cross and rose again for us. I read my Bible more and pray more and I just feel that Jesus changed me. I know who is my King now and that is the greatest feeling ever. I know that I will live forever in Heaven with Jesus the King of all, where there is no sin.

Luke 5:31-32 "Jesus answered them 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'"
